Bingo Daubers
Bingo used to only be played privately in small clubs and halls. Now, bingo is huge business, and millions and millions of dollars is wagered in bingo each year. Bingo and proposals to legalize it used to cause great debate in this country more than any other form of gambling. Bingo then became legalized in most states and is a huge deal in large forums across the United States. Before legalization, New York State with its many large bingo jackpot prizes, topped all other states with its illegal bingo handle of $200 million. The New York State Lottery Control Commission reported that the gross bingo handle during New York’s first year of legalization, with a jackpot prize limit of $250, as more then $41 million and paid admissions to bingo halls were more than 12 million. No Deposit Bingo The action of the 22 million players throughout the United States in the last few decades was handled by about 200,000 bingo halls, many of which operate daily. Legalization doesn’t solve all law-enforcement problems because many of the legal bingo halls often violate the bingo laws of their states. The players, of course, don’t object, and the local politicians and law-enforcement agencies don’t want to buck hundreds of thousands of bingo players who vote, especially when bingo sessions are run under the auspices of churches, synagogues, and patriotic, fraternal and charitable organizations, with the profits going toward the support of hospitals, parochial schools and social-welfare programs. Bingo Board Bingo remains a huge dispute between Catholic and Protestant members of the clergy, and the split between these religious groups is as wide as on any point of doctrine. There can be no argument that bingo has raised more money for more charitable groups than any other form of fund raising. It largely supports thousands of veterans’ groups, uncounted catholic grade schools, and hundreds of volunteer fire departments. It has helped many welfare organizations, raised money for hospitals and needy families and plenty of churches and synagogues. Who can blame these people for wanting to play bingo and win it big? Bingo is a great social activity, and a huge business, where you can sit around with your friends and talk about the day’s news and at the same time win big money by playing bingo! And it’s usually all for a good cause like your church or some other good non-profit organization.
